Here is Grandma with the girls with Brisbane in the background.
Emily at the airport - being entertained by Dad. Grandma and Abi at reception of Le Lagoon after a hot long day travelling.
Here are some photos of the resort we stayed at - it was just beautiful.
We forced ourselves to go swimming in this pool each day - several times a day for Abi (and Mum).
Emily's first experience of water that is bigger than a bath. She was really hesitant and certainly had a firm hold of Pa. (by the end of the week she was out in the ocean and cried when we took her back onto the boat!)
Oh Pa.... please let me have some of your Margarita.... please.... Abi managed to find a playground in the middle of Port Villa township. Swings are swings, doesn't matter where you are.
Here's the family in Port Villa.
Grandma and Emily sharing a milkshake.
Abi and Em at Port Villa. Mum and Abi out for dinner.
Em loved stealing sunglasses and putting them on, she thought it was very very funny.
Bec thought it was very very funny when Emily kept eating the sand... Em didn't find it quite so funny, but kept doing it anyway.
Ahh this is the life, relaxing by the pool after a swim, waiting for our lunch to arrive.
Daddy and Abi doing a bit of canoeing
Everybody in on the act, getting a bit of exercise - a good thing after all those buffet breakfasts.
Emily certainly was an adventure in paradise... she kept us on our toes. Bec and Chris enjoying the views of the township.
Cuddles with Pa are always good.
Out and about at the market.
Abi getting her hair braided by a girl at the markets.
Mum, Dad and the girls in Port Villa.
Abi out at dinner, looking "pretty cute" in her words!
The whole clan, on our way to the Cascades Waterfall. Abi and Mum enjoying the natural bubble bath at the falls.
Abi and Mum having a shower under the falls.
Some locals put on a dance for the tourists and gave us a taste of their traditional drink - well known for taking ways toothache, helping you sleep and any other ailment that vast amounts of alcohol can cure... it was very potent.
A photo opportunity if I every saw one...
Emily got very good at sleeping anywhere she felt she needed a sleep. On this occasion on the beach at Hideaway Island.
Out snorkeling - Abi had a look at the fishes through her goggles.
